Yes! We are registered with Ofsted and follow Ofsted regulations and guidelines to offer the highest standard of care possible. These regulations help raise the quality of care and ensure the safety and well-being of children.

All Staff employed by Active Stars Holiday Club have been chosen due to their experience and qualifications, enthusiasm and passion within the educational sector. All staff have been DBS checked and a minimum of two Paediatric First Aid Trained members of staff are on site at all times.
Ways to pay:
• Credit/Debit Card: we accept most major credit/debit cards and make no charge for card payments.
• Childcare Vouchers and tax free childcare: Please find the list of childcare companies we are registered with in important information section. If your voucher company is not listed, please contact us, so we can register ourselves with them.

Active Stars accepts all types of childcare vouchers and tax free childcare. This can be full or part payment towards a booking. The childcare voucher company you use will depend on which one your employer is registered with. Please speak to them to find out which voucher company you use. If we are not currently registered with them. please contact us so we can register ourselves with them. Your childcare voucher company provide parent access to pay online via their website.
Yes! You are able to do part payments with your and credit/debit card and childcare vouchers. Please select 'Pay by voucher' option at the checkout. You will then need to instruct your voucher company, or, sign into your childcare account to transfer funds to us. If there is an outstanding balance, you can pay this using the invoice we will email to you or by card during drop off/pick up.
To enable us to provide quality care and service, we require advance payment to secure your booking so care provisions can be put in place for the day.
Once you have made a booking and payment has been made, you will receive an email of confirmation of your booking and, a receipt of payment from World Pay.
Cereal, fruit and toast with spreads and fresh fruit will be on offer each morning, Breakfast is optional. All options for Breakfast will be made available to you on arrival.

If your child has any dietary requirements, providing we have been made aware of these on the booking form, we will provide a substitute or alternative option.
Sausage rolls, Fruit, vegetable and dips and more, will be available for the children. These options will be available to see at morning drop off.

No. All children will need to arrive with a suitable packed lunch. (Please note we are nut free)

If a child arrives without a packed lunch we will first contact the main carers, if no contact can be made, a fee (£10) will be chargeable to cover the cost of a suitable lunch to be sourced. Please note that we are unable to offer refrigeration or services to heat/warm foods for any packed lunch.
No. Please ensure children do not bring any valuable toys or belongings with them as Active Stars cannot be held responsible if they become damaged or go missing.

We recommend packing according to our unpredictable English weather! On any given day this should include sun cream, sun hat, waterproofs or warmer clothing. We would suggest packing a change of clothes that you don’t mind getting messy due to our outdoor play philosophy and art & craft activities. Please ensure all items brought to an Active Stars club are clearly labelled.
Please contact us as soon as possible. No refund will be given; by discretion of the manager an alternative day may be offered.
Any child requiring medication cannot attend until we have a supply of the medication required. Please ensure you hand any medication required to the Group Leader with a ‘Permission to Administer Medicine’ form. A form can emailed to you or downloaded from our website via the booking page prior to your child attending. Please note, WE ARE UNABLE TO ADMINISTER ANY MEDICATION WITHOUT A SIGNED CONSENT FORM.
Active Stars are fully inclusive and we try to support all children. It is important that we are fully informed of any child with additional needs so we can try and support him/her in the best way possible. Please notify us on the booking form. We would also suggest raising this with our SENCO Laura@activestarsholidayclub.co.uk prior to your child’s first visit.

If your child requires 1 to 1 support, we would need sufficient notice to try and arrange this. We do not offer 1 to 1 support as standard so this would be chargeable at an hourly rate. If required, we would suggest you speak with your local authority who may be able to help you access local funding.
Only people listed as a collector on your booking form can pick up your child. You can change this by contacting us directly and ensuring the suitable adult is given the collection password. Staff will only release children to people they know or can verify so please ask that collectors bring photo ID and your password for checking. Any person collecting your child must be over 18 years of age.
All routes will be clearly sign posted. Please follow the signs for your designated group.

All children must be signed in by a responsible adult. When signing in children, parents/carers will be asked to check contact details and password for collection time. The password must be confirmed by the authorised collecting adult at the end of the day.

Children attending Early Stars can be signed in no earlier than 8am, if breakfast is to be provided children must arrive no later than 8.30am to allow them time to enjoy their breakfast before joining their designated group.
Children attending a standard day can be signed in between 9-9.30am and collection is between 4-4.30pm. Any child not collected by this time will incur a late fee charge at £3 every effort will be made to contact the main parent/carer.

Children attending Extra Stars will be provided with a light snack to keep them going until home time. Active Stars closes at 6pm and all children must be collected by this time. Any child uncollected by 6pm will incur an emergency late fee charged at £5 for every 15 mins overdue. This is to cover the cost of two members of staff to stay with the child until they are collected by their parent or carer. Every effort will be made to contact the main parent or carer. Due to other clubs and classes taking place at the venue, it may be necessary to vacate the building or wait in another area on site.
No, our booking is flexible and (subject to availability) you can book for individual sessions or for the whole of the Holiday period.
